On Tuesday 14th January 2025, the Brethren of Nuthall Temple Lodge (6011) gathered to mark a truly remarkable milestone in their history—the 80th Anniversary meeting, 80th Installation, and 550th Lodge meeting. It was an evening filled with tradition, camaraderie, and heartfelt celebrations.
W. Bro Peter Allan, representing the Provincial Grand Master, had the privilege of presenting Festival Jewels to our newly installed Master, W. Bro Paul Snape, and his father, W. Bro John Snape. The symbolism of this father-son moment epitomised the values of Freemasonry: family, continuity, and mutual support.
The special night was captured in a group photo featuring the following Brethren (L-R):
W. Bro Gary Cole (Festival Steward and Secretary) P.ProvGStwd
W. Bro Paul Snape (Worshipful Master) P.PrGSuptWks
W. Bro Peter Allan (PGM Representative) ProvSGW
W. Bro John Snape (Treasurer) P.PrGSuptWks
Adding to the occasion, each member and guest received a personalised 80th Anniversary gift, beautifully crafted by another father-son duo, Bro Malcolm Smith and Bro Brian Smith. These thoughtful mementos served as a tangible reminder of the Lodge's enduring legacy and the bonds that unite its members.
As the Lodge continues its journey, this memorable event stands as a testament to the rich traditions and strong fellowship that make Nuthall Temple Lodge a cherished part of the Nottinghamshire Masonic community. Here's to many more years of shared success and celebration!
